GWAR Phoenix Concert reviews
Kenny Chesney Denver Sandbar tickets
I bought "Seating" Sandbar tickets--that's how it was promoted as I believed they were reserved seats, given the $100 price difference from sections A, B, C, D. Usually, standing room only would be specified or issued as general admission on a first-come, first-served basis.
I had to pass my GWAR meet and greet tickets to my friend to secure spots in the sandbar--since the meet and greet with GWAR was scheduled right at the opening of doors. In the future, I wish all meet and greets were before or after the concert so I wouldn't miss any of the artists--I paid a significant amount and expected to see all the performers. All the performers seemed to favor the Sandbar more than the Sandbar left. I don't comprehend why. It would be preferable if they split their time between both sides. I appreciated that all the artists appeared for the finale.
I would have preferred to witness GWAR's performance for a longer duration. If Grace Potter had performed first, I might have been able to save my sandbar spots and also attend the meet and greet.
The heat was unbearable that I fell ill. Fortunately, I managed to exit the sandbar to use the restroom during Grace's performance--otherwise, I might have collapsed over the rail while Grace was on stage.
I received incorrect information regarding accessing the field--I was informed that I could only enter the field from Gate 4 or 5. Later, I discovered I could have entered through Gate 10--where I had parked--and then walked down near Gate 4 to reach the field. I have a bad hip, and thankfully, I encountered security, and one of the guards provided me with a cart ride.
Besides these issues, all the performances were fantastic. I just wish there was more of GWAR on stage.
